ECOSAFE® In the News

 

  • The Rocky Mountain Oilfield Testing Center (RMOTC), owned and operated by US Department of the Energy (DOE) continues their interest in the ECOSAFE® solution and ECOSAFE® Environmental Management System Technology.  RMOTC will be taking our technology to the next level; commercialization and their participation in the design and construction of the first prototype for ex-situ treatment to be used for the treatment and de-contamination of reverse emulsion of drilling cuttings, soils and sludge from production pits, all contaminated by hydrocarbons. 
  • July 2003,  ECOSAFE® solution and ECOSAFE® Environmental Management System were technologically tested for the remediation of drilling oil base cuttings with reverse emulsion, contaminated by hydrocarbons.   The test was conducted at Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), Paraiso, Mexico.

  • ECOSAFE® receives introduction Letters form Rocky Mountain Oilfield Testing Center (RMOTC) to the Government of France, Institut Francais de Recherché pour l'Explotation de la Mer , to the Government of Spain, Cancillera de Medio Ambiente, Gobierno Autónomo de Galicia, to the Government of Mexico, Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) and to the Government of Panama, Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores.

  • April 2002, ECOSAFE® Degradation of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon and BTEX Compounds in Produced Water Project, at Teapot Dome, NPR3 RMOTC facility receives Interim Project Report from the Rocky Mountain Oilfield Testing Center (RMOTC), Casper, WY.
  • March 4, 2002,  ECOSAFE® receives approval from the state of Wyoming, Department of Environmental Quality Control (DEQ) to treat produced waters from oil wells that contain TPH and BETX and discharge them through the NPDES Permit of the Rocky Mountain Oilfield Testing Center (RMOTC) , Teapot Dome, NPR3 facility.
  • March 2002, the Wyoming Oil & Gas Conservation Commission awards ECOSAFE® the exclusive permit for performing in-situ chemical treatments of sludge pits and produced waters in the entire State of Wyoming.

  • November 7, 2001,  The US Department of the Energy (DOE), the State of Wyoming and Petroleum Environmental Technology, LLC , our Petroleum Technology company began an In-situ Bioremediation project in Casper,  Wyoming using ECOSAFE®.  This project was under the direction of the  Rocky Mountain Oilfield Testing Center (RMOTC), at their Teapot Dome, NPR3 facility. 
  • June, 13, 2001,  ECOSAFE®  was presented by the Venezuelan Electric Company, CADAFE in a Television Press Conference for the degradation of PCB.  The first time PCB was degraded in Venezuela and probably in the world.
  • December 3-9, 2000, ECOSAFE® was presented at the AIDIS Conference in Porto Alegre, Brazil by the Government of Puerto Rico,  Environmental Quality Board.
  • In 1999 ECOSAFE®  PCB Degradation, was published in the Ambiente Magazine. Vol. 2, No. 1,  written by the Government of Puerto Rico,  Environmental Quality Board. 
  • On June 8-12, 1997, ECOSAFE® was presented at the AIDIS Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
